This is a half mortise brass lock and the lock mechanism and key are made of steel. The lock measures Approx. 2" wide by 1" tall and is 7/16"+- thick and is approx. 1 3/16" tall.  The center of the key is Approx. 1"+-  from the side and 23/32"+- down from the top of the lock. Comes with one key. (S9)
