Corvette 50th Anniversary Belt Buckle

This belt buckle is a new unused belt buckle created by NCRS and presented to 1953 Corvette owners that displayed their 1953 Corvette during the 2003 celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1953 Corvette. Unlike the 25th Anniversary belt buckle, of which there were 300 buckles produced and numbered 1-300 (and sold publicly on a first come, first serve basis); the 50th Anniversary belt buckles were limited to only the number of 1953s that were shown by their owners at an NCRS event.  These buckles were not available for sale and only given as a token of appreciation to the owners.  There are estimates of between 50 to 100 buckles produced.  No car received more than one belt buckle for participation during 2003. These buckles are very scarce and seldom come up for sale.  

The serial number (044) on the back of the belt buckle represents the 1953 Corvette with serial number ending in 044. (The 44th Corvette produced).
