Ascorutin
- belongs to the group of bioflavonoids. The vitamin complex
composition helps in the fight against fragility of capillaries.
Ascorutin contains two important vitamin compounds: ascorbic acid and
rutin. It is rutin in combination with ascorbic acid that helps fight
the fragility of capillaries and significantly reduces vascular
permeability. Also performs anti-inflammatory and antioxidant functions.
PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT:
It
helps to restore the deficiency of vitamins C and P. Rutin, together
with ascorbic acid, participates in redox processes, has antioxidant
properties, prevents oxidation and promotes the deposition of ascorbic
acid in tissues. Both components strengthen the vascular wall
(contribute to the formation of intercellular substance and reduce the
activity of hyaluronidase), reduce the permeability and fragility of
capillaries.
Increased
individual sensitivity to the components, increased blood coagulation,
thrombophlebitis, tendency to thrombosis, diabetes mellitus, gout,
urolithiasis with the formation of urate stones, cystinuria, hypokalemia
and hypercalcemia, oxalaturia, severe kidney disease, simultaneous use
with sulfonamides or amine.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION METHOD:
1 tablet 2-3 times a day during or after meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
