The GoldenEar SuperSat 3C offers high performance in a low-profile speaker that can fit where many other center channels can't. It's less than 3 inches deep and weighs just five lbs., and it's designed with multiple mounting options in mind. And it sounds great — its two mid-bass drivers and ribbon tweeter work together to deliver clear dialogue and solid sound effects that enhance your TV and movie viewing experience.
A HVFR™ (High Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter squeezes the air between the folds of a high-density diaphragm, rather than pushing air like a piston. That lets it maintain a wide dispersion pattern and smooth response all the way up to 35,000 Hz. The tweeter is flanked by a pair of 4-1/2" mid/bass woofers with powerful magnet that keep their movement accurate and linear. Each woofer's MVPP (multi-vaned phase plug) controls energy in the center of the cone and keeps distortion low. It all adds up to wide dispersion, accurate imaging, and clear, musical accuracy.
The SuperSat 3C teams up perfectly with GoldenEar's matching SuperSat 3 satellites and ForceField 3 subwoofer for a space-saving home theater system.
If you're placing the SuperSat 3C on a piece of furniture in front of your TV, you can use the built-in adjustable foot to angle the speaker toward your listening position. There's a keyhole slot on the back for mounting it flat against a wall, plus a threaded insert that works with the optional SuperSwivel wall mount. Finally, if you don't have wall space or furniture near your TV, it's a perfect fit for GoldenEar's SuperStand (not included).
