JDH Cooling Ducts have been designed to replace the factory fog lights on the Mini R50,R52 & R53. These pull in cool air from the nose of the car and provide cooling to both the brake callipers & disks. This kit helps you stay out on track for long periods of time and provide consistent braking performance. 

 

This kit is in use worldwide on various Minis that race in seasonal competitions and enthusiast that run open track days. By running our JDHCustoms front intake kit, the braking system works more efficiently. High performance brake pads produce more heat so having the correct racing brake fluid & cooling makes a more enjoyable and safer car when you're out on track or spirited driving on the road.

    

From the factory the Gen 1 Mini had no such form of bringing cool air to this location. We have spent a lot of time CFD testing and designing this product that combats this issue while providing a really clean install & provides no rubbing.

 

No modification is needed to the mounting of these ducts (use original hardware) as they are a direct replace the factory fog lights. However, some trimming is needed to the radiator support for rooting the motorsport neoprene ducting hose. The inner wheel arch installs back as normal once you have made some trimming.
