Bypass Plug for Gen 4 LS Oil Pan Oil Pressure Relief Valve
Fits 2007-2013 LS Based V8 Engines 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L. 6.2L
The secondary oil pressure relief valve located inside the rear of the oil pan on Gen 4 LS engines is prone to becoming clogged by debris, causing low oil pressure conditions. On engines without DOD/AFM or VVT systems (or engines where those systems have been deleted) the bypass valve can be safely eliminated with this plug to prevent these issues. Installation requires removal of the oil pan from the engine.
Torque to 22lb-ft
