Up for sale is a one owner Vintage Apple II Plus Computer A2S1048, serial number 509587, with two Disk II 5.25" floppy drives, two Apple II Hand Controllers (by the Keyboard Company) 16-Pin Paddles and Apple floppy disks with software. This was purchased in 1980 and came to me from the estate of the original owner.
Cosmetically this computer is in good to excellent condition; interior is clean. It was stored in the original owner's home office until it came to me. Please refer to the photos to determine cosmetic condition to your satisfaction.
Testing: Using a Commodore 64 Monitor - NOT included - we placed the DOS 3.3 System Master disk in a Disk II drive, turned the power on, and got the message displayed in the photo. I did not enter any commands or make use of the keyboard for further testing.
Inside are several cards:
Grappler + by Orange Micro which is a parallel interface card for Apple II series. It prints text as well as HIRES graphics. It can be used to allow most Centronics parallel printers to work with Apple II, II Plus, IIe, and II GS. A cable is attached to the card and passes through the back of the Apple II to the Centronics port on a printer.
Apple Disk II Interface Card which is used to control 1 or 2 Disk II Drives. The Disk II Drive(s) connects to the card before inserting the card into slot 6. When photo was taken only one Disk II drive was connected to the card. A cable attached to the Disk Drive passes through the back of the Apple II Plus and connects to the card. The second Disk II drive has its cable attached but was NOT connected to the card at the time of testing.
Fourth Dimension Systems 16K 80-column Card is present and boosts the II Plus to 64K RAM.
