This pristine set was commissioned to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Although she became Queen in 1952, her coronation did not take place until 1953.

It is in immaculate condition. I don’t think it could have ever been used for anything but display.

Any shadows or white spots you see are caused by light glare or camera flash. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a lot of exquisite gold overlay which is totally intact. Both pieces ring beautifully. Please check the pictures as they form part of the description.
