The ACR replaces the restrictive factory accordion on the GEN1 and GEN2 Viper. These smooth tubes, with a 7 degree bend, are what are found on the GTS-R and ACR models. The ACR intake amplify the engine's intake sound, reduce heat soak, quicken throttle response and increase power.
Dodge claimed gains of 10 horsepower and 10 ft-lb torque with the ACR intake. Independent testing by MotoIQ found peak power gains of 14 wheel horsepower and 12 wheel ft-lb torque with the ACR intake. Power gains are throughout the entire power band.
