This guy is an absolute blast to play with. There are all sorts of mini games that you can play to “catch” Pokémon to fill out your Pokédex. I don’t speak any Japanese and navigating the menus and playing the games was effortless as the UI is perfect. There’s also a Pokémon Snap mini game where you have to actually point the Pokédex around trying to spot the Pokémon on the map.

Really I spent way more time that necessary “testing” this guy, ha! I’m forcing myself to put it down so I can get some work done 😅

As for the condition - it’s near mint to be certain. Battery terminals are super shiny, there are no scratches or damage to the touch screen, there are only the slightest scuffs on the plastic that I had to put under the magnifying glass to notice. Sound is excellent, touch screen responsiveness is excellent, and the quality of the images on the screen is also excellent.

He ships from Texas and will require 4 AAA batteries. I don’t include batteries in toys just in case it ends up on your display shelf for a while and you forget to take them out (I’m guilty of this).
