This listing is for a vintage Buffet Crampon mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. This is an example of one of the earliest hard rubber Buffet mouthpieces. It has one ring up, and three down, with the Buffet logo below the three. This version is referred to as a 'bottom logo', and it is quite sought after due to the quality of its hard rubber compound. There is also a small letter "B" marked on the side, next to the table. The tip opening measures .039" (1.0mm).

This mouthpiece is in good used condition. The tip, and rails are smooth. There is a scratch on the table, but I don't think it will prevent a reed from sealing. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. It has some scratching on the exterior, and the rubber is discolored/faded. The cork is a bit chewed up, so it should be replaced. I will leave that for the buyer so that it can be matched to your barrel. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.

Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Thanks again for looking!
