Published by J.F. Schreiber, the kit builds a 1:24 scale model of the Udet U12 “Flamingo” biplane.

Developed in the mid-1920s by the WW1 German fighter ace, Ernst Udet, the U12 “Flamingo” was a two-seat open-cockpit trainer, the last product of his aircraft production company. It sold in Germany and was exported to Austria and Hungary.

The kit comprises 7 sheets of A4 card with an extra sheet of thick card which could be used for strengthening. The completed model has a wingspan of about 17 inches.

Diagrams and full English instructions are included.

The modeller cuts out the pieces, scores, bends, folds and curves them into the right shape before gluing them together. The result is a proper 3-D scale model.

I am happy to reduce the postage costs on the purchase of more than one item.
