I had the good fortune to acquire a large body of this contemporary artist's work from a relative. Most of the pieces date from circa 2009 - 2014. A few are signed, dated, and / or titled. Amanda Renault (b 1989? - ) grew up in Massachusetts and attended community college in the state. She is a largely self-taught artist who didn't attend art school. Her evocative work draws you in. Layers of emotion are captured within each of her pieces. Available for purchase are some of her one of a kind portrait pieces, abstract works, and city scapes.
