Again, this just an empty bay without any drive included, you must to have your own drive that must to be compatible with this old DELL empty bay, please check all the pictures carefully and make sure you have besides the drive (CD or DVD reader or writer), also the proper port on your laptop, this empty bay needs a special double USB port, I'm assuming for power and data, regular USB port devices are not compatible with this device.

This device is not compatible with any modern laptop, tablet, android or iPhone phone
