Stunning and scarce early 19th century hand-painted flat cup & saucer set by Spode in the 967 pattern, c.1807-33.  The pattern is one of the most famous made by Spode in the early 1800's and painted in the Imari style in cobalt blue, iron red and gold palettes. This unique cup has a loop handle with kink to the lower part, with a lower attachment that curves out from the cup. Spode is the only factory with a handle of this exact shape, back is painted Spode 967.  Cup measures 2 1/4" high x 3 1/4" diameter, saucer measures 5 1/2" diameter. In Excellent antique condition free of nicks or fleabites, little to no gilt or wear to the decoration, minor production flaws as shown. Stunning 200 year set! A fine addition to any home or collection!
