A gorgeous handmade ring created during the 1940's with rich 14ct yellow gold that polishes to a high shine and claw set in the middle of a wonderful design is a fabulous natural cushion cut reddy/pink with a hint of orange tourmaline of .56ct weight.  It was very difficult to capture the superb colour of this amazing gemstone.  There is a recent valuation of the ring, so please look at it for further details.
A larger size 9.5, so it may have been created for a man and you may  need to ask your jeweller if it is suitable for sizing due to the band design.  I believe it would suit either a man or a woman but that is up to the individual.  It is visually stunning on your hand and really does make a statement.  The tourmaline exhibits a wonderful shine even in shadow.  The ring sits proud of your finger when on by approx 8mm and the design of the shoulders gives it real presence.  A nice solid weight of 5.43grams finishes of the description.
Please note all the photographs to show the unique design and hopefully the beautiful tourmaline gem.
Your ring will be sent to you in a new ring box with free express/signature postage, full postal insurance and with the valuation.
Thank you very much for looking.
