Published by the Polish publisher KEL, the kit builds a 1:50 scale model of the American fighter, Boeing P-26 Peashooter.

The P-26 was Boeing’s only production monoplane fighter, of which over 100 were built for the USAAC. Although not used by American forces during WW2, some were used by the Philippine Air Force and Chinese forces against the Japanese.

The model, which is just under 6 inches long, depicts an aircraft with pre-war US markings.

The parts of the kit, which has construction diagrams and generalised English instructions to supplement the Polish text, are printed on 1 sheet of A4 card.

The modeller cuts out the pieces, scores, bends, folds and curves them into the right shape before gluing them together. The result is a proper 3-D scale model.
