You are bidding on an 8 x 10 black and white  photograph of HMS Agincourt I 06, the Battle Class Destroyer  which served in the Royal Navy from 1947 to 1972.

The Agincourt began her long life on December 12, 1943 at the venerable Hawthorne-Leslie shipyards at Hebburn.  She was launched January 29, 1945 and was commissioned into the Royal Navy on June 25, 1947.

She served until paying off into reserve in 1966. She was placed on the disposal list in 1972 and sold for scrapping in 1974.

Photograph one is undated ( pre FADE conversion ) and shows an overall waterline port bow view.

Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships badge, general pre conversion  characteristics, motto, callsign  trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
