Zao
Wou-Ki born February 1, 1920 in Beijing (China),
and died April 9, 2013 (aged 93) in Nyon (Swiss),
is a Chinese painter and printmaker naturalized French in 1964.
In
the 1950s, he was attached to the new School of Paris, then to
lyrical abstraction before becoming a great continuator of Chinese
Art.
He
was a friend of Pierre Soulages, Joan Miró, Henri Michaux.
