Vintage 1940'S Hand Carved Wood Sandal Wedged Shoe Philippines.

In good shape.

They absolutely show their age!

Over 80 years old!

They are made of a colorful red, with a cut out tropical hut, palm tree heel and embroidered fabric across the toe. After the war, American GI's would return home from the Philippines with these as gifts for their girlfriends and wives. Each  souvenir shoe contained a miniature scene inside its wooden heel.
