This is a really cool item. It's a promotional tie tack given away by the Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Company out of North Kingston, Rhode Island. The tie tack design features a clamp with amazing detail.
The tie tack was created by jeweler Walter H. McKenna, whose work flourished during the Art Deco years of the 1920s and 1930s.
