The Unveiling of the Buffalo Nickel and Its Unique First Strikes

Early 2005, the United States Mint unveiled a new 2005 (P) Philadelphia Mint Mark nickel a captivating new design for the nickel coin, affectionately known as the Buffalo Nickel. This striking depiction of an American bison marked a return to the coin's iconic roots.

Historical Roots of the Buffalo Nickel:

Unopened Box of 2000 Nickels:

A rare and exceptional find, a box of 2000 unopened 2005 Buffalo Nickels remains sealed to this day. The box bears the date March 11, 2005, confirming its status as a collection of First Strikes.
