FYSETC Vorn 2.4 Upgrade Extruder System ERCF(EnragedRabbit Carrot Feeder) Support Multimaterial Switch No Printed Part with Self-Produced ERB Module(ERP2040) Compatible Vorn 3D Printers-6 Channels

  • Upgrade Filament Feeder: !!!Note the first batch we need your attention on the sensor cable and enstop cable sequence. This ERCF project is a new light spool-holder and buffer combo to help you deal with the filament management issue associated with ultimaterial systems. It can realize automatic switching of consumables for multi-color printing in the same printing process.
  • 6 Channels: Our Carrot Feeder allows to use a high number of different filaments--- 6 channels and feed them, one at a time, into the printer toolhead. The modular assembly method can flexibly adjust the number of consumable units that can be replaced by the device as needed( we also have another with 9 channels). Its gear motion system is based on the Vorn Design M4 extruder.
  • Advantages: Compared with other modules, we adopt a self-produced ERB module(Based on the MCU of RP2040) for the hardware. It uses a power management chip, USBC interface to improve the performance. The motion module part adopts chrome-plated optical shaft and engineering plastic bearing to make the device run smoothly and silently. Smaller gap and higher running accuracy when they both cooperate than that of metal bearing.
  • !!!A warm tip: Original TCRT5000 sensor PCB's pins are 90, please use a plier to make them straight to install. Application Models: This project is mainly dedicated to be used on VORN printers(VORN V0.1/Switchwire/Triden-t/ 2.4 R2 etc) , it can also be used (or adapted) on any 3D printer that runs Kliper, and potentially RRF. If need more support, please feel free to contact us via your order ID. We will assist you directly.
  • Well Packed: All necessary parts are in a customized box. Not including the printed parts. You need to print and assemble it by yourself. About the printed part and installation mannual, please go search the relative files on github. Thanks for the effort on this project!

Thanks to the VORN Design devs and VORN discord members for the discussions and support. This link Feeder supports 6 channels. In fact, the Carrot Feeder allows to use a high number of different filaments (tested up to 9 channels so far) and feed them, one at a time, into the printer toolhead. The ERCF gear motion system (i.e. what is used to push and pull the filament) is based on the Vorn Design M4 extruder. The ERCF was inspired by the Prus MMU2 and the Smuff. Package includes All the necessary accessories, no printed parts. You need to print them and assemble it by yourself.
