Daisies Bud Vase

Being offered on this auction is a gorgeous vase made by Rosenthal China, Selb, Bavaria, Germany. It is Art Nouveau design. Vase has gorgeous shape of classic Etruscan storage jar with a very short neck. About two thirds of its body are of pearl background and upper part of the body is heavily gilded. Daisy flowers in white and orange are shown growing from the bottom and separate these gold and pearl parts. Their buds are in slightly green gilded tone. Vase is fully glazed. Looks splendid. Vase is marked on the backside with standard ‘Rosenthale Selb Bavaria’ mark in green. This mark identifies original production of 1928. Other marking is form number 37/3 incised on the backside.

Vase measures about 3 1/4” in diameter on its widest portion and stands 5 3/4” tall. Condition is very good with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Gold has no wear on the body and just slightly worn off on the top of the rim. Please take a look at the pictures to find out more about this item.
