2011 V2 Casascius Coin - Graded by ANACS MS63

Own an INCREDIBLY rare piece of Bitcoin history!

Casascius Coins are the gold standard in physical crypto collectibles; more valuable/collectible than all of the other types you see on eBay. Much more valuable than any intangible "en eff tee" (can't use the acronym for some reason - the listing gets taken down).

The Series 2 variety is an underappreciated rarity with a low mintage of only about 1,600 pieces. First released in November 2011, more than 30% of the coins have since been peeled and redeemed and they continue to be redeemed at a steady pace. Elias Ahonen notes in his Encyclopedia that "Series 2 was a significant innovation" and that "these coins are in fact much more rare" than the Series 1 coins. As interest in this category continues to grow, this Series 2 variety will undoubtedly emerge as a true rarity and this sale is another landmark offering for physical crypto.

I am the second owner of this item. After creation by Mike Caldwell, it was sold to the first owner, who had it graded by ANACS. I bought it from the first owner, and it has been sitting in my safe since then, in a pet-free/smoke-free environment.
