For sale here is a nice US WW2 Era U.S. Army Wall Plaque.  The plaque measures approximately 7 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide.  The plaque appears to be made of black walnut.  The center of the plaque has a domed separately applied brass and enamel US Army logo that shows light age.  This plaque is in good overall condition, but the embossing is faint.  The plaque is embossed, Pvt. John E. Killer 353rd Inf. Div. ETO.  I assume that the 353rd Infantry Division should be Regiment, in which case, the 353rd Infantry Regiment was a part of the 89th Infantry Division which arrived late in the war and fought their way into Germany.  Private Killer received a Bronze Star Medal for his actions with the 353rd, and was from Center Point Texas.  The rear of the plaque is lightly finished and has a hanger.  This plaque shows age, wear, and dust, with some light finish loss.  This will make a great display piece.
