The piercing awl is designed to be able to run the cutting wire through the PU adhesive even in deep cockpits. The tip is shaped like a special guide fork into which the wire can be easily placed. The blade is made of highly flexible spring steel and this allows the awl to adapt very well even to the various curvatures of dashboards. The right working pressure can be applied through the T-handle.
This special-purpose tool belongs in the basic tool kit of any workshop. Often used as part of auto window removal tool kit.
