Vintage Premier 5.5" x 14" Olympic Snare Drum

The drum is in good condition for its age, only one side needs to be repaired (I don't think that's a problem). The badge is fully intact. The rims and hardware show a bit of their age - minor pitting and minor scratches. All parts are original. The Premier Drum Company was established as in 1922, however the Olympic line did not come into existence until 1937, when the Premier did well and the Olympic Games became the first step up the ladder to owning a shiny new Premier kit. The Olympic line did well around the world and America was a large market, which resulted in the availability of drums and finishes that were not available in the UK. Due to the fact that it needs to be repaired on one side, therefore the price is lower.

This drum sounds great, if you're looking for that vintage sound. Softer bearing edges means a warmer, "mushy" sound. The range of the tuning isn't what a modern dual-45 degree bearing edge can achieve, but it has some ability to tune medium-high.
