This unusual dress from By Malene Birger has a secret. It looks like a midi-length skirt with a matching hi-lo top with a French tuck in front. In fact it is just those things, but the top is permanently attached to the center front of the skirt while the rest of the top is free. In addition, the top has a boat neck, cap sleeves, side vents, and is attached to the skirt for only about four inches in front. I love the back of the top with its inverted pleat that creates more fullness. The pencil skirt has an elastic waist. The fabric is a polyester and elastane crepe (96/4), so it has plenty of stretch and resiliency. Labeled size M, or 6-8. This dress is very stretchy. MEASUREMENTS - Chest is 44" - Measurement at top of side vents is 46" - Length in front is 23" from high point of shoulder.  - Length in back is 26" from high point of shoulder. - Elastic skirt waist is 28.5" unstretched.  - Hips measure 38" at abou 8" below waist.
