Up for bid are French 950 silver luncheon forks in an unidentified pattern by Edouard Puiforcat.  The forks are 7 1/8 inches long and weigh 46 to 50 grams each.  The forks are monogrammed “MRG” on the handle fronts in the American / English manner. The forks are marked on the tine fronts with the [EP] maker’s mark and a French 950 silver assay mark.

Condition on the forks is fairly good. There are some minor bends, some knife marks on the tine backs, and normal wear from use.  Some good place pieces in a fine old pattern!
