Published by the Polish publisher, Profile, the kit builds a 1:33 scale model of the WW1 fighter, Sopwith Pup.

Entering service with the RNAS and  the RFC in the latter half of 1916, the Pup was a remarkably fine aircraft with good maximum speed and climb and excellent manoeuvrability. On 2nd. August 1917, a Pup made the first recorded landing of an aeroplane on a moving ship when landing on HMS Furious.

The parts of the kit, which has construction diagrams and generalised English instructions to supplement the Polish text, are printed on 4 sheets of A4 card.

The kit allows the modeller to build either aircraft N-6453 which landed on HMS Furious or aircraft N-6442 from the Walmer Defence squadron.

The model, which has a wingspan of about 9 inches, has good cockpit and engine detail.

The modeller cuts out the pieces, scores, bends, folds and curves them into the right shape before gluing them together. The result is a proper 3-D scale model.
