I acquired this lovely bicycle from the collection of a vintage bicycle enthusiast friend back in 1980. I rode it to work for a few years before taking it apart for restoration. My friend provided the lovely 'new old stock' Wrights saddle and helped me restore the bicycle. We protected the maker's logo which is the original transfer on the steering head - it reads 'MICHA Randers'. Randers is a Danish city on the Jutland peninsular. The frame is stamped 'Made in England' beneath the bottom bracket. My friend pointed out that British companies supplied frames and other parts to many foreign bicycle makers. It's certainly unusual and very collectable. The date 1933-5 stamped on the rear reflector suggests that it's the bicycle's date, and the shape of the reflector's brass mount does fit the angles of the mudguard precisely, but my friend felt the bike is of early-mid 1920s design. Hubs and spokes are replacements but painted as they were originally. The brake is a torpedo coaster brake in the rear hub (you operate the brake by exerting a backwards force on the pedals).

Collection only as I can't send it through the post. But if you organise courier I can give you my address for collection. There are several companies who specialise in transporting motorcycles by van, and they would be perfect for moving a vintage bicycle. You could try getting some quotes
