Purchased from a collector, pride of ownership is easily evident in their perfect condition. Many of these are early editions, or Special Limited Editions, which are extremely hard to find, their age indicated by the engraved symbol found on the bottom. The date stamped on the bottom indicates the copywrite year NOT the production year of the piece. Some pieces are in production for years. Precious Moments figurines have graced the shelves of countless homes since the “Original 21” collection was released in 1978. They do not contain any engraved symbols. Implementation of symbols began in1981.
Before becoming a success with his figurines, Butcher worked as a janitor to supplement his income as a “chalkboard minister.” Faith has always been the guiding factor for Butcher and his family.
