Precious Moments are a series of high quality porcelain figurines of children boasting large teardrop eyes and lovely soft pastel colorings. They have been intricately designed and carry messages of faith, love, and hope.
Purchased from a collector, pride of ownership is easily evident in their perfect condition. Many of these are early editions, or Special Limited Editions, which are extremely hard to find, their age indicated by the engraved symbol found on the bottom. The date stamped on the bottom indicates the copywrite year NOT the production year of the piece. Some pieces were in production for years. These sculptures can only be purchased through the secondary market. We are offering these sculptures at a very attractive price!

Precious Moments founding artist Samuel J. Butcher’s artwork has always been inspired by faith, family, and friends. His soulful illustrations of children with teardrop-shaped eyes were first only featured on popular greeting cards.
Precious Moments figurines have graced the shelves of countless homes since the “Original 21” collection was released in 1978. They do not contain any engraved symbols. Implementation of symbols began in1981.
Before becoming a success with his figurines, Butcher worked as a janitor to supplement his income as a “chalkboard minister.” Faith has always been the guiding factor for Butcher and his family. Precious Moments figurines have touched people all over the world. They make wonderful meaningful gifts!
I have carefully inspected the Precious Moment Figures find them to be in excellent condition without chips, cracks, crazing, odors, gouges, discolorations or repairs.
