The book plate is a print from the original painting by Jean Charles Werner in 1852.

This print is in excellent condition. Sharpe edges with little to no staining.  Shown is a scan of the exact page you will be receiving.  Because these pages are directly taken from a book, the description on the back of the print does not coordinate with the animal.  Therefore you will also receive a black and white copy of the animal description (also shown).  Finally you will receive a copy of the Copyright page from which the book plates were taken.
