Arriving fresh!

Beginning in 1977, Pacific Car and Foundry (PC&F) released a heavily insulated boxcar with internal, air-bag loading devices and 20" travel, sliding-sill under frame. These cars travel the country. Often originating from the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO., they are affectionately known as "Beer Cars" for the refreshing cargo they frequently carry.

By request from our customers! We are excited to announce 6 all new paint schemes on our HO Scale Beer Car. All schemes being offered are what we consider to be "close enough". The differences being anywhere from different ends, side sill or door size. While we strive at ExactRail to be as faithful to the prototype as we can, we realize that many of our products make a good representation of other items on the rails and are proud to offer these models exclusively from TrainLife.com.

About the Progressive Rail 2004 Repaint Paint Scheme:

Progressive Rail operates a network of railroads throughout the midwest and western United States. In the early 2000s, PGR acquired the PC&F built insulated boxcars that were originally built for Manufacturers Railway Co. and then went on to Tropicana. Retaining the same road numbers that the cars were given at Tropicana, PGR repainted the cars in an attractive scheme reminiscent of the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway (MNS).
