Rare Maitland Smith Decorative Oval Wood Lidded / Covered Box Container pre-owned. I think the wood is either walnut or mahogany and maybe the top handle is brass, but I am no expert and I could be wrong. Really gorgeous though and I have never seen another one like it.
Very good condition, a couple of minuscule hard to see dings on the front and back and I am thinking it was on the wood and is the nature of the wood when it was manufactured (not a game changer, and you have to really look very hard to see it with a strong light).
