A Coventry England weaver, Thomas Stevens created Pure Silk Pictures and Bookmarks with fine details and good colors during the 2nd half of the 19th Century.  The bookmark is 2” by 10” in a 6” by 14” frame. It shows the Lady Godiva and Peeping Tom poem by Tennyson with the image of Lady Godiva riding. It is in good used condition with age stains and wrinkles. The frame has some wear on the edges with touch up. Please look at the photographs as they are considered part of the description.
