Up for auction is a gently used professional William S. Haynes handmade sterling silver open hole flute. All keys move freely. The Straubinger pads and corks are in very good condition. There are no major dents and several minor dings are too small to photograph. This lightly tarnished flute is an ALL silver, handmade french (open hole) model and includes a handcut headjoint, .016” tubing, gold springs, pointed key arms, drawn tone holes and a B footjoint. Additionally, this flute has rolled tone holes, an offset G key, a split E mechanism and the headjoint has an 18K white gold riser and silver lip plate(usually a $2K upgrade). The serial number is in the low 53,xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 2009. Included is a gently used Haynes wood shell flute case and a leather zippered case cover. This model sells new online for over $12K!!!
