Vintage Artisan-Made Seed Bead Floral 21.57” Long Necklace Lovely design and colors Purple,Violet,Lavender.

Beautiful necklace made by JAK, Christy Nicholas of Green Dragon Artist, in June of 2014. A beautiful color combination of seed beads in purple, violet, lavender, yellow green and a center light brown patterned bead around which a fringe of beads as stamen are placed. A pretty pansy-like flower is created measuring 3” X 3”. It falls to the collarbone or lower. The workmanship is exquisite, and the color choices are rich, vibrant and unusual. The colors are a lovely combination of purples with highlights - gorgeous. Yellow green is used as a contrast. A twisted, seed-beaded purple-colored cord links the central flower with the pretty metal heart shaped loop and toggle closure in the back.

This is a really special necklace, quite pretty and unusual. It shows brighter in some photos than it is in ordinary light but it is exquisitely made. A showpiece.

It is made by the same artisan using the same pattern but different bead colors as in another seed bead necklace we have among our other listings. They are remarkable pieces. Christy Nicholas of Green Dragon Artist hand sews each piece, bead by bead, with needle and thread, using glass seed beads, Swarovski crystals and other findings to create the final piece - a unique piece of wearable art. These necklaces were purchased directly from Christy. Being multi-talented as an artist, photographer, writer and bead worker, she doesn’t make as much jewelry as in the past so her bead work is scarcer and more valued. See her website.
