This original artwork cartoon was purchased from the estate of Jerome Kohlberg Jr. and Nancy Kohlberg,  See copy of letter confirming original purchase in photos, which will accompany sale. Purchase price in January 1998 was $650 unframed. 

Jerome Kohlberg Jr. was an American businessman and investor. He was an early pioneer in the private equity and leveraged buyout industries founding private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) and later Kohlberg & Company.
