Here we have an attractive yellow glazed pepper pot with mocha “tree” decorations.  The wide band is decorated with 4 black mocha “trees”.  This pepper pot was molded in 2 pieces, the body and top which were joined while the clay was still damp prior to firing.  The top of the pepper pot has symmetrical shaker holes with 3 legs and diamonds. Measuring 4 ½” in height, the pepper pot survives with chips to the underside of the shaker dome.  Pepper pots are extremely rare mochaware forms any collector would be proud to own.
