3 x 1970’s Original Cartoons Artwork ROD MCLEOD Daily Mail Political Interest

For more than 30 years McLeod was known for his quality sports cartoons, never missing a deadline or taking a break for illness or holiday. McLeod, who was also instrumental in the design for the launch of Scotmedia in 1985, served his national service in Cyprus before returning to Scotland to work in advertising agencies. He then took the plunge as a cartoonist working for the Daily Mail, Daily Record, Daily Express and, latterly, the Evening Times. He, along with his wife, Ruth Wishart, was a founding member of the SFA Travel club and a proud Tartan Army foot soldier.

Sadly Rod passed away in 2004
