The La Sportiva Mutant is one of those shoes that has been unchanged for many years, and this is due to its well established and well-loved design and performance. So, to see an update this year that tweaks rather than totally changes this brilliant shoe is somewhat of a relief!

The La Sportiva Mutant is an extremely stable and versatile Mountain Running shoe which is ideal for trail races and training over medium-long distances and on technical terrain. This year the shoe sees an update to the upper materials to improve breathability while remaining highly abrasion resistant. The upper also features renewed graphics inspired by the topography of the Val di Fiemme, adding a touch of inspiration to your next adventure.

Grip wise, La Sportiva shoes have always been up there with the best grip in all conditions and the new FriXion White compound is even stickier than it’s predecessor providing excellent traction so you can traverse the most technical terrain with confidence.
