Our top quality rig foam is just the job for protecting your hooks, rigs and bait applications.
Packs are measured by volume, however, to give you an idea, each 3LT pack will contain approximately 150 nuggets each measuring approx 5-6cm long by 2cm wide, meaning each piece can be cut in two, so you can get approximately 300 pieces out of each pack X 2. That said, for simple hook masking we actually cut each nugget into 3 pieces, which obviously makes them go even further!
We've been dealing rig foam nuggets for over 15 years now, there are various types out there and quality can vary *dramatically* from supplier to supplier so be sure to do your homework. Our nuggets are made right here in the UK to exacting standards. Each piece is super strong with a fast breakdown - 100% soluble. They are virgin super clean nuggets hand packed by ourselves and sourced direct from the manufacturer - not swept up of a warehouse and stuck in a big box like some of the stuff we see!!

About Us… we’ve been angling since childhood at Boost and have been involved in carp fishing specifically since the late eighties. Whilst we’ve always had our hands in a bait mixer, over the last twenty years we’ve also been heavily involved in online angling publications, tackle sales, and for more than a decade have been involved in fisheries management; acquiring and developing our own carp fisheries and syndicate waters. It’s safe to say that in all this time we’ve seen almost every fad come and go… and in many cases, come back again! However the basics of watercraft remain the same – put a quality bait in the right place at the right time and you’ll have as good a chance as any.
Our ethos at Boost is to cut away at all the nonsense and concentrate on the basics. Our baits are designed to catch fish – not anglers. As Public Enemy put it… don’t believe the hype. We take immense pride in our work. Every hookbait is hand rolled in the UK by anglers passionate about bait - not made using machines by some poor soul earning less than minimum wage in a vast Euro feed-plant.
We have a simple ethos at Boost - if we would not be happy to fish with it ourselves, it does not go out of the door!
