This family of four dollhouse dolls are wearing their traditional German attire. They were made by the German company Erna Meyer. These are the vintage dolls with the hand painted, stockinette faces. They all have wire in their limbs so they can be posed. There are four dolls from left to right: 

1) Mom is wearing a black hat with a dark red and black dress. Her apron and shawl are gray with stars. She has blonde hair braided in a ring behind her head. She is wearing black shoes. Her legs, as are the rest of the family's, are cloth covered. Mom is 5" tall x approximately 2-1/4" wide x approximately 1-1/4" deep; 

2) Dad is wearing a green hat. His jacket is gray with green trim. His shorts are black with green embroidered designs. He is wearing a print shirt. His hair is medium brown. He has floss wrapped legs or socks under the knees with a black design. His shoes are also black. He is 5" tall x approximately 2" wide x approximately 1-1/4" deep;

3) Sister has a red scarf covering her blonde hair in braids. Her dress is blue, white, and red plaid. It has white puffy sleeves and apron. Her shoes are also white. Her underskirt has a lacey bottom that can be seen at the bottom of her skirt. She is 4-3/4" tall x approximately 2-3/4" wide x approximately 1-1/4" deep; and

4) Brother has a green hat. His hair is strawberry blonde. He is wearing brown shorts with suspenders and an off white shirt. He has floss socks under his knees with black trim. His shoes are black also. He is 5" tall x approximately 1-1/2" wide x approximately 1-1/2" deep. 

This family of dollhouse dolls are in the 3/4" or 1:12 scale. They are the vintage Erna Meyer dolls. They are from the 1950s.

These dolls are by no means mint. They have been well loved. They have use marks. Mom has a tiny hole in the back of her shawl. This can be seen in picture #4. The strings on father and son's legs have moved but are tight. Sister has rust dark spots on both hands from the wires. She has a hole in the top of her scarf. Brother's shorts are made of silk, I believe. As many times is true, the silk is deteriorating. There are three splits in the back. As you can see in my close up picture. There is a chunk out of the back as well. He has stains on his right leg and his arms from the shorts. There is no associated odor. Please see my pictures. They help with the description. My price reflects the condition.
