1927 Martin O-18K

Lovely old Koa wood Martin. Neck Block number 32500 Nicely figured. Completely restored as follows:
Originally built for slide play, converted to regular style. New ebony fingerboard has medium/medium nickel frets. The position markers are period correct Martin style of abalone. Side dots are also abalone.
Neck was reset.
Top was flattened, open seam repaired and cleated, new rosewood bridge plate installed. New ebony compensated bridge installed.
The finish is hand rubbed, known as "French Polish". It does not look "over-sprayed" or "refinished".
The new compensated bridge is ebony, as is the end pin, The nut, saddle and bridge pins are bone. There is plenty of room left on the saddle for lowering, if it is ever needed in the future.
Original tuners.
12 frets to the body. 25.0" scale length. 1-7/8" width at the nut. 20" fingerboard radius.
Action is low and playable at 2.0mm and 2.5mm on the high and low strings at the 12th fret.

Fully rebuilt and lovingly polished, this guy plays really easy, sounds great, and is ready for another 100 years.
