  Overall Size:
  Measure the size of the air duct/drywall opening. Do not measure the overall size of the register itself, only measure the "hole" in the wall/duct. Every grille has a front end frame, that will overlap at wall joint.
  Total outer size of this grille is; listed size +2" at width and + 1.75" at width.

When ordering make sure to order the measurement of the duct opening, not the register from end to end on sizing.  End to End will be a larger measurement then the measurement stated.  The measurement stated is the size for the duct opening or vented area.
