In total 192 580 items were manufactured. For the long years of using Ural ZiC-355M proved to be a reliable and low-maintenance vehicle, remarkable by its great capacity (officially it was considered to be a 3.5-ton-capacity vehicle, but it could carry 5 tons without any problem, and in the case of a good road - 6 tons), by ability to pull down a lot (trucks were very often used with a cargo trailer) and by its rather high for that time comfort (all the Ural ZiCs-355M were equipped with a cabin heater; ZIC-150 didn’t have it at all, and it was started to be installed in GAZ-51 only from December, 1956). Among truck-drivers the truck had nicknames “Uralets”, “Kirgiz”, “Zakhar”. The given model has a middle level of difficulty. It is recommended for all fans of civil above-ground transport.
