1933-34 CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR MUG TRAVEL & TRANSPORT HALL OF SCIENCE MADE IN JAPAN

This mug was part of our huge Worlds Fair and Exposition Collection. We mostly collected 1933/34 and 1939/40 items but also have many pieces from much earlier to much later Fairs. We offered the entire collection as a buy it now on eBay six months ago with no takers and have since decided to piece it out. My husband, seller named Jal12147 and I will be listing pieces till it’s gone.

Here is a souvenir mug from the 1933-34 Century of Progress Chicago Worlds Fair. It’s in excellent condition and I don’t think it was ever used. There are no nicks, chips or cracks. The mug is made in Japan with the colorful, luster style. The mug features two fair locations: the Travel and Transport Building and the Hall of Science. There is also a panel devoted to the fair itself.

This mug is 4-1/4” tall, 3-1/4” at the top and 3-3/4” at the bottom. “Made in Japan” and a manufacturers mark is on the white bottom.
